Tofeca Ann Shiepe passed away on April 23, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Abraham F. Shiepe in 1977. Tofeca is survived by her six children, 7 grandchildren & 8 great grandchildren. She married Abraham January 23, 1944 in New Bedford, Massachusetts and in 1953 they moved to California with 4 children. The two youngest were born in Los Angeles.
Arriving here she began working. Tofeca always worked very hard. At one point in her life she even had 3 jobs. She was a devoted wife and mother committed to the progress and future of her family. She became a vocational nurse, LVN, by putting herself through school while she worked and raised a family, and worked at Brotman Hospital in Culver City, of all the jobs she had this was by far her favorite.
Tofeca was always looking for opportunity to move her family forward. She began dabbling in Real Estate and soon obtained her Real Estate license.
She was an entrepreneur ahead of her time.
She was finally able to retire comfortably in 1992. Even in retirement she enjoyed the occasional Real Estate transaction.
In the latter years, Tofeca was taken care of by her sons and enjoyed the days with her daughter. Some of her favorite things to do included, a trip to the 99cent store, watching Judge Judy, and Western movies starring John Wayne & Clint Eastwood.
Above all of this Tofeca loved her children. Her pride in her family was evident to anyone who met her.
The Matriarch of the Shiepe family will finally be reunited with the Patriarch she has missed for 42 years. She will shake up heaven.
