Carol LaFountain, 76, passed away in the comfort of her family on February 4th 2020 in Dallas, Texas.

Memorial Mass will be held Saturday February 8th 2020 at 2:00 pm at Calvary Hill Cemetery North Chapel with Father Abbot Peter Verhalen. A reception will be held Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home. Everyone is invited to a celebration of Carol's life, Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 5:30 PM at 7974 Briaridge Road, Dallas, TX 75248.

Carol was born in Saranac Lake, New York on July 24th 1943. She attended Saranac Lake High School and Erie Technological School. She married Gerald LaFountain and they have five children. Carol was a dental hygienist, homemaker, decorator and philanthropist. She loved to cook, drink wine, travel shop and take care of her family.

She spent most of her time taking care of and cheering on her children and grandchildren at sporting events. Carol was an avid volunteer donating numerous hours to St. Phillips Church, St. Rita School, Ursuline Academy, Jesuit, Cistercian, Northwood Woman’s Club, Contact and many more.

She is preceded in death by her mother Margaret Thompson, Brothers Ken Thompson, Leon Thompson, Joseph Thompson and her aunt Marrion Brown.

She is survived by daughters Blair Petersen (Erik), Bridgette White (Tom), Hunter Morris (Clint) Tiffany Soignier (Chris) and son Josh LaFountain; grandchildren John Thomas White Jr, Hutch White, Connor Fraire, Emma Soignier, Ellie Soignier, Maddie Morris, Gracie Morris and Avery Morris.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Carol's memory may be made to Cistercian Preparatory School, 3660 Cistercian Rd, Irving, Texas ; or a Catholic School of your choice.

So sorry to hear this news. Unfortunately I haven’t seen Carol in many years. We had some wonderful times together as neighbors, mothers, and mothers of soccer players. I know she will be missed by so many people and especially you her children. Please know I am thinking about you at this very sad time.
