Dolores Ong Luther

Dolly was taken far to early from this world by an irresponsible doctor. She will be missed by all. Especially her loving husband of 49 years and 9 months, her Billy.

Dolores Ong Luther (Dolly) was my sister in-law. Dolly was a kind, helpful, concerned, caring, compassionate and generous woman of the highest caliber. Whether she was sponsoring friends or relatives to come to the United States or taking gifts to the less fortunate people she knew in the Philippines. Dolly loved to travel and had planned to go to Cebu to attend the Sinulog-Santo Nino Festival in January 2019. Dolly had some medical issues and just prior to her trip her doctor recommended that she shouldn't travel in her condition. She must have been very disappointed. I commend Billy for his love of Dolly and for doing all he could for such a long time to make her life more enjoyable and worth living. Rest in peace Dolly, may we all be together again, another place, another time.

I shall always respect her independent nature. I will always admire her adventurous spirit. I will always remember her love. I will carry her in my heart every one of my days.

I love you, mama.

Rest In Peace my dear sister. No thousands words and tears will bring you back. You’ll be dearly missed. Your beautiful, loving and kind heart and soul will take you to heaven where there’s no more pain, illness and sorrow. You’ll be with Mom, your Papa, inday Helen, Vince ( Titi Jun ) my Papa and all our loved ones. Kiss and hug them for me and give them my love message. We, your loved ones left behind, will pray you always until we meet again in another life everlasting in heaven. Thank you for being a wonderful sister to me. The memories we had together will live forever. “ Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one steal “. When I kissed you last Monday night (1/28/19) I didn’t know that it was the last time. Take my love with you. We love and miss you dear Achen 🙏 ❤️😢.
Here’s a poem for you my dear sister;

The souls of the just are in the hand of God and no torment can touch them.

They seemed in the view of the foolish to be dead and their passing away was thought an affliction and their going forth from us utter destruction.

But they are in peace.

My younger sister Dolores (Dolly) was a sweet, kind, thoughtful, compassionate and very generous human being. She has helped many of our relatives in the Philippines. Dolly was also adventurous and brave. Being confined to a wheelchair did not stop her from traveling by herself overseas. Rest in peace my sweet and loving sister. I enjoyed our special trip to Europe. I will always love you and I will miss you deeply.
