Gladys Payton Innocenti, 99, passed away on February 23, 2020. She was born March 1, 1920, in Burns, Kansas to Bessie Critser & George Payton. She was a graduate of Burns High School and Butler County College. She moved to Dallas in 1957 and joined her husband in owning and operating Anchor Electric Company until 1970. She was then employed by Hayes Rent-A-Car and Cox Oil Company retiring in 1983. She was a member of Lake Highlands United Methodist Church, Mary Martha Sunday School Class and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
She is proceeded in death by Albert, her husband of 48 years.
Survivors include nephew, R.D. Dignan, M.D. and wife Lolis of Dallas; niece, Judy Vaughn and husband Carl; niece, Rose Mary Payton; and nephew, Daniel Payton and wife Marisa of Emporia, Kansas. She is also survived by several grandnieces and grandnephews.
Interment will be at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.
Memorials may be made in her name to Lake Highlands United Methodist Church.
