My Obituary

I think my Obituary would say Maisha was a kind, loving, soul. She loves her children more than life itself, has always strived to give them the world. She lived a nonsectarian life not bound by any faith because God comes in many forms and has many meanings. Those who know Maisha know she believes in science loves physics and heavily believes in energy and discovering ones own magnetic force field code.

This world didn’t deserve her and the energy she possessed. Loved & liked a lot but mostly misunderstood. She’s at rest now & believed to be not only in a better place but surrounded by the energy of love the way she perceives and deserves to be loved, provided for and cared for.

On one of the first shifts I worked with Maisha she saved a child's life. EMS had brought in a listless baby who arrived not breathing. As I rushed into the room Maisha was already giving mouth to mouth and got the baby breathing again. This was one of countless times where her presence made the difference between life and death for the people lucky enough to receive her care. Her smile never failed to cheer and her fierce pride in her family was evident of the kind of love we should all strive for. Both colleague and friend, Maisha truly made the world a better place and her absence is felt every day. Gone too soon but never forgotten, I will be forever grateful for the time we had together.

Maisha you will be sorely missed! You always had a kind word and a smile for everyone you worked with. You always had the time for a quick chat or a gripe about how the shift went. You were always a positive role model to me and someone I could look up to , to uplift my spirits. Your compassion and quiet grace will long be remembered by those of us who were privileged enough to have worked with you. Rest in peace and may your family take comfort in knowing their loss is shared.

Maisha you were an amazing daughter, wife, mother, and “baby” cousin. Your presence will be forever cherished and you will be missed dearly.
