March 16, 1929June 12, 2018

Our beloved Mommy, Nora Ming Chu Chi, age 89, entered the gates of Heaven on June 12, 2018. During the last moments, she was surrounded by her four daughters, who loved her dearly. She now joyfully stands before the glorious presence of our Lord and is reunited with her loved ones who went before her. Mommy was born on March 16, 1929 in Yen Tai, China and was greatly loved by her parents, Tim C. F. and Sue Fong Wang. She attended and graduated from the Key Ming Catholic School for girls, where she won multiple awards for playing the piano. However, one of her favorite memories of her school days was playing the male lead in the school play for which she received much praise and applause. She and our father, John, were engaged when she was 14 years old. When she was 18, they attended Shanghai University together and later they studied business at New Asia University in Hong Kong. They wed on August 9, 1950 in Hong Kong. In 1958, they started their first business called Sincere Company which sold embroidered goods and fine linen. During their time in Hong Kong, they had four daughters, Pasy, Judy, Kelly and Allie. In 1969, the family of six moved to St. Louis, MO. and they started their second business, China Art House, which sold exquisite Asian antiques and jewelry. In 1995, they retired, closed their store, and moved to Plano, TX where they built their dream home. Mommy will be remembered by her faith in God, deep love for her family, light-hearted sense of humor, amazing traditional northern Chinese cooking, artistic creativity displayed in her water color paintings, and her resourceful nature. Mommy is survived by her sisters, Annie Wang, Hweina Chen and Youhna Wang; brother, David Wang; daughters and sons-in-law, Pasy and Albert Ip, Judy and Richard Yee, Kelly and Dan Louie, and Allie and Steve Ku; grandchildren, Isabelle Ip, Christopher and Maria, Andrea, Jeffrey and Hannah Yee, Alyssa and Corey Matzat, Sean and Joseph Pao-Wu, Madison and Morgan Ku; great granddaughter, Nora Yee, and future great grandson, Peter Yee.

Judy, Kelly, Allie. Moms are a blessing from God. A joy to know she is 100% healthy in the presence of the Lord. She did it the right way in raising her kids.
