Breland family,

I wanted to share with you all the the Colorado Rapids recognized Rachel with a moment of silence last night before the Rapids home game. The PA announcer mentioned that this had been a tragic week with the tornados in OK and with former Rapids employee Rachel Breland's death from brain cancer just a few days after her 26th birthday. Just wanted you to know that her former employer cared that much for her.

Love and peace,

Alan Goth

I still remember the day that Rachel walked in to my office in Denver and asked me if I had any job openings. So brave and courageous for a new college graduate in a new city. I had to hire her because I saw in Rachel that very special person that comes along all too sparingly in our lives. Rachel lived courageously, bravely and fully. She is a Christian inspiration and example to me, my wife, and my family. We were fortunate to have known her. Thank you Breland family for Rachel and please know we grieve with you.

My thoughts and condolences. I'll always remember all the fun we had at SCE, especially recess. Thanks for giving me the courage to wear my sports glasses in 5th grade. May you rest in peace.
