Rosetta accepted Christ at an early age and demonstrated her love for Christ throughout her entire life, serving as the mother of the church at Christ Ambassador Baptist Church in Desoto, Texas, under the leadership of Rev. Maynard Joseph.
She received her formal education in the public schools of Winnfield, Louisiana.
She was united in holy matrimony to her first and only love, George Moore, Jr., on February 24, 1946, and to this union they were blessed with fifteen children.
She was a long-time homemaker, dedicating her life to her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in by death by her husband, George Moore, Jr.; son, William C. Moore, Sr.; great-grandson, Emanuel A. Rhodes; sister, Gertude Flewellen; and brother, Arthur Lee Atkins.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her fourteen children, Patsy A. (Robert) Perry of Troup, Texas, Robert L. Moore of Fort Worth, Texas, Frances D. (Herman) Wilson of Nicholasville, Kentucky, Andrew H. (Janice) Moore of Arlington, Texas, Molly O. (Billy) Fite of Dallas, Texas, Velma D. (Kenneth) Collins of Dallas, Texas, Frank L. Moore of Lewisville, Texas, Danny R. (Tammy) Moore of Grand Prairie, Texas, Shirley M. Summerville of Lancaster, Texas, David L. (Felicia) Moore of Dallas, Texas, Wayne Moore of Dallas, Texas, Micheal D. Moore of Lewisville, Texas, Jacqueline Y. Moore of Red Oak, Texas, and Conterri L. Moore of Desoto, Texas; thirty-three grandchildren; fifty-six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one sister; one brother; and host of relatives and friends.
Her legacy will forever live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and the future generations to come!
