Santos Trujillo was known as a strong and independent woman. She was very loved and fondly remembered in Reynosa, Mexico where she raised her four children. She loved attending rallies and advocated for rights in her community. Later in life, she moved to Dallas to be closer to her family, and everyone that met her enjoyed listening to her life stories about growing up in a ranch with her brothers & sisters, and life in general. She was happiest being outdoors in nature, and tending to her flowers and plants. She will forever be loved and missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her four children Ramona Salas, Reynaldo Caballero, Maria Duran, and Maria Antonia Zamora; her grandchildren Javier Rodriguez, Tirso and Daniel Salas, Cynthia, Rey, Lilyanna, Robert, and Valerie Caballero, Priscilla Duran, Lismeth, Emyleth and Gil Zamora; her great-grandchildren Jennifer, Matthew, and Michelle Rodriguez, Leslie and Christian Salas, Ilana, Annelise, and Ysela Salas, Angelica, Olivia, and Agustin Lopez, Adrianna & Julianna Holmes, Frida Esparza, Andrew, Lilybeth, and Nyzeth Martinez, Karla and Albert Quintana, Lyneth Diaz, and Abby Reyes. She is also survived by 2 great-great grandchildren Jourdan and Kayden.
