Phil was an avid outdoorsman enjoying camping, fishing, and hunting. He had a lifelong passion for music; playing guitar, mandolin, and singing. He also enjoyed traveling and did so extensively until his illness. He was involved in scouting and was a former troop leader and den chief. Phil was also a very active member in The New Fairfield Veterans Association, and was a devoted NY Yankee fan. He also enjoyed social gatherings and was often the life of the party.

A celebration of Phil’s life will be held on Fri. January 9th at The Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, from 5-8PM, followed Sat. with a military burial at Wooster Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.

The family also extends sincere gratitude to the Praxair Cancer Center and the Regional Hospice of Western Ct. for their care and compassion.

I miss you every single minute of every single day. Half of me died with you. I know you are in a better place I just wish you stayed here longer. I guess it would of never mattered when you left because it would've hurt like it still does anyway. You gave me the gifts of patience & strength. And to keep loving and to stay on my path. I hope I can always do that now. xoxoxoxoxoxo forever & ever always love you
