Beverly Medeiros

Beverly Medeiros, 78, of Dartmouth passed away Wednesday August 25, 2021 at Vibra Hospital in New Bedford after a brief illness. She was the former wife of Donald Graeff.

She was born in New Bedford to the late Manuel and Branca (Carvalho) Medeiros. She resided in California for 38 years before moving to Dartmouth.

Beverly had worked as an accounting assistant at Walker-Zanger in California until her retirement.

Beverly was a member of the Mt. Carmel Church Seniors Club. She volunteered for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and at St. Luke’s Hospital. She enjoyed playing golf and watching golf on television with her nephews.

She is survived by her 3 nephews: Michael Medeiros, Shawn Medeiros, David Medeiros and his wife Desirae all of Dartmouth along with several great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Bertha Vieira, Norbert, Leo and Manuel Medeiros, Jr.

Her funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 10:00a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 789 Dartmouth Street., Dartmouth followed by burial in South Dartmouth Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior from 8:30-9:30a.m. at the Waring-Sullivan Home at Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Rd., Dartmouth. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.

Biography

Beverly Medeiros, 78, of Dartmouth, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Vibra Hospital in New Bedford. She was the former wife of Donald Graeff.
Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Manuel and Branca (Cavalho) Medeiros, she had resided in California for 38 years before moving to Dartmouth.

Mrs. Medeiros had worked as an accounting assistant at Walker-Zanger in California until her retirement.
Beverly was a member of the Carmichel Seniors and volunteered for the Make-a-Wish Foundation and St. Luke’s Hospital. She enjoyed playing golf and watching golf on television with her nephews.

She is survived by her nephews, Michael Medeiros, Shawn Medeiros and David Medeiros and his wife Desirae and several great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Norbert, Manuel and Leo Medeiros and Bertha Viera.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 789 Dartmouth St., Dartmouth followed by burial in South Dartmouth Cemetery.
