David was a man who filled our lives with great laughter, joy, and love, even as he courageously battled one illness after another, along with his loving family. His fighting, never- give- up spirit, in the face of repeated adversity, serves as a shining beacon to give us all all the strength to face what travails may lay ahead for each of us. David be dearly missed, but nothing can ever take away the many wonderful memories we shall continue to cherish, and will joyously recall, of the wonderful times we shared together and how he blessed the lives of us all. God rest the soul of this wonderful man, husband, father, and friend, whom I was so fortunate to have known and loved.

Though I haven’t seen cousin David in a very long time, I’ll always cherish the memories of going to the beach, running on the rocks, and picking buckets full of periwinkles with him. To cousins Joyce and Nancy, and to all of David’s loved ones, I’m so sorry for your loss.
