Born in Memphis, TN, she was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Velva Peters.
Monica honorably served her country and retired from the United States Air Force. She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Organization and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, horses, riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, and was a supporter of the Viet Nam Vets Legacy Vets Motorcycle Club. Spending time with family and friends was very important and she will be deeply missed.
In addition to her loving husband Russell, she is survived by her step-son, Wesley Ryan Kay of Jacksonville, NC.
Arrangements are in the care of WARING-SULLIVAN HOME AT DARTMOUTH, 230 Russells Mills Rd, Dartmouth, MA 02748. Her burial will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 12:45pm in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, 1 Connery Ave., Bourne, MA 02532.
