PARTANEN, Ethel Anne – of Dartmouth, formerly of Verdun, Que. Passed away peacefully in Dartmouth General Hospital on April 3, 2017, The only daughter of the late William and Leonora “Lena” (Proudfoot) Noel. Ethel was a teacher for many years with the Halifax County School Board. She is survived by her daughter Lesley Anne and will be sadly missed by her canine companions Brody and Max. She was predeceased by her husband Vaino Olavi “Ski” Partanen. Cremation has taken place and no service by request. There will be visitation on Friday, April 7, from 2 – 4 pm in A. L.
