de Molitor, Viola Jannet-96 of Dartmouth passed away on February 3, 2020 in the Admiral Long Term Care Centre where she lived for over seven years. Our sincere appreciation to the Recreation Department who kept her active and became her friends. Born in PEI, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Irene (Knickle) Shea. Viola was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, David Penny de Molitor, and her daughter Janet (David) Smith; and siblings, Bert, Vernet, Iris, Irene and Frances. She is survived by her sons, Billy of Dartmouth, Bruce (Mary) of Dartmouth; sisters, Reta, Calgary, Ada, Halifax; brother, Kenneth, Dartmouth; grandchildren, Sandra Thornhill, Porters Lake, Danny Smith, Upper Sackville, Jordan Taylor, Dartmouth, Damian Taylor-de Molitor, British Columbia; great-grandchildren, Justin, Benjamin and Madison Thornhill, Riley and Carter Smith. I was so very sorry to hear of Viola's passing. She was a friend of my Mom while at the Admiral and I still volunteer there. Vi loved her bingo on Wednesday afternoon! And loved the music whenever a band played. She will be missed.
