To the family of Bettie, I have known Bettie for many years through my family (George & Virginia Lindle, Muscatine) and through my job as Registrar of the Muscatine Art Center. Bettie and I have shared many visits regarding family history, Thompson Brothers, Little Mac cars, etc. She was always warm and friendly and so fun to chat with. She would always visit the Art Center when she was in town and it is through one of those visits that I met Jeff. I know she was extremely proud of the Muscatine History exhibit that we did here several years ago, as it highlighted the "Thompsons" and their achievements. I was lucky to have had the opportunity to meet with her so many times and you are all lucky to have had such a wonderful woman in your lives. She will truly be missed. I am not sure if my parents will be sending a card or not, as I know they are not capable of sending an electronic message, but know that they send their sympathies to the family as well, as they were all very close over the years. Sincerely, Virginia Lindle Cooper, Muscatine Iowa
