Lois was born April 14, 1925, in Chicago, IL, to Arlie and Hazel (Scharff) Malchau. She married Raymond Duane Coffman on November 30, 1946, in Davenport, IA. He preceded her in death on November 11, 2005. She worked many years for the Davenport Public School System and retired from Madison Elementary School.
Lois enjoyed bowling, crossword puzzles, and loved “The Price Is Right.” She was our very own Lucille Ball, and we’ll have many funny memories to always keep us company.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Coffman, Biloxi, MS; grandchildren: Caitlin Hill, Camden, MS, Philip McCutcheon, Houston, TX, and Maizy, Rory and Kaiya Spooner, Biloxi, MS; great grandchildren: Addison, Jackson, Dawson, Huntleigh, and Avery Lynn; Brenda Fedderson, her niece and goddaughter; along with many other nieces and nephews.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Andrew Malchau, who served in WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart.
