Sheila Rae Schoop

Sheila R. Schoop, 61, of Davenport, IA passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the University of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City, IA. Per her wishes cremation rights have been accorded. A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Runge Mortuary. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. Sheila was born on March 5, 1957 to Robert and Shirley (Speth) Stevens in Davenport, IA. She graduated from Davenport West High School. She worked for 30 years at the Rock Island Arsenal as a Pricing Analyst, retiring in 2008. Sheila was an avid animal lover, especially dogs and horses. She enjoyed her coffee, western movies and loved her family. Survivors include her daughters, Kristie Werner and Michelle (Chris) Dawson; granddaughters, Haley and Kayla; sister, Dawn Gatlin; partner, John Ridenour; and her dog-kids, Payton and Sabel. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorials may be left to the family.
