Mary and Family,
How fondly I recall Leonard from summers "loading on the go" during harvest and bucking bales for him as well as a young preacher's kid. I still hold all your family in great esteem, and think of Donna Rae often. I have been a pastor almost 28 years, and am serving a United Methodist Church near Alexandria, KY now, I have been with the Kentucky Annual conference of the UMC for 5 years, and was in Indiana for many years. Getting close to retiring, I guess.
Please know that you all are in my prayers during this time especially. May it be a comfort knowing that his place in heaven was assured long ago, and that he is with the Almighty now.
It has been way too long since I heard from any of your family. It was Karin [Larsen] Whipple that notified me this morning after seeing his obituary in the Spokesman.

Mary and family: What does one say at a time like this. It is sad to loose a family member...but we also are thankful that he is no longer laying and suffering. We prayed for you two nightly and will continue to pray for you, Mary.
It is a difficult time, we know from experience but our thoughts and prayers are with you.
