

FANNIN, Roy Eskol, age 96 of Eaton, peacefully passed away on June 16th, 2015. He was born on March 13, 1919, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to the late Phillip H. and Alma L. (Batch) Fannin. He was preceded in death by his wife of 75 years, Alta M. (Eaton) Fannin; son, Roy P. Fannin; sons-in-law Jeff White and Dale Link; grandson Brad L. Gunder; sister Laverla Jane (Fannin) James; brother Garland E. (Peggy) Fannin, sisters and brothers-in-law, Catherine (Ed) Stonerock; Bessie (Harold) Bock; Elizabeth (Paul) Stressenger; Jessie (Clyde) Dever; Harrison (Martha) Eaton; John (Mary) Eaton; Wilbur (Iva) Eaton; Earl Eaton and Howard Eaton. Roy is survived by brother-in-law Harry R. James of Weslaco, Texas; daughters Barbara (Jerry) Gunder; Linda Link; daughter-in-law Carleen Fannin; grandchildren Cindy (David) Summers, Brian (Laura) Gunder, Beth Gunder, Marc (Lee) Gunder, Christina Gramman, Jeff (Penny) White, and Lori Disler. Roy is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He retired from the NCR Corporation after 35 years. Roy was a WWII Veteran in the Army Air Corp and a member of The Grand Lodge Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio, Scottish Rite, Valley of Dayton for 65 years. Funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, June 19th, 2015 at Tobias Funeral Home Belmont Chapel. Friends may call from 11am until the time of services at the funeral home with interment following at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
