Alexander J. Telowicz (A.J.) 86, of Midwest City, OK, passed away on May 10, 2018. He was born April 12, 1932 in Harrah, OK to Julian (Julius) and Mary (Hucaluk) Telowicz. A. J. attended Harrah High School and was very active in FFA.

A.J. served in the United States Army and the Korean War. He served from 17 August 1951 to 28 July 1954. He was stationed in Yokohama, Japan and met Tomiko Yanagiha. They were married in the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Yokohama Japan on January 2, 1956. They were married for 62 years.

A.J. loved being at his farm in Harrah. He enjoyed working with his dozers and tractors, taking care of his donkeys, spending time with his friends and having BBQ cookouts at his cabin at the farm.

He worked as a Termination Contracting Officer at Tinker Air Force Base and retired with 36 years of federal service.

A.J. is survived by his wife, Tomiko, of Midwest City; daughter, Irene Christian and husband Gary of Midwest City; grandson, Scott Christian of Midwest City; niece, Susan Pollock and husband Alan of Edmond, and nephew, Richard Telowicz and wife Chris of Edmond.

A.J. is preceded in death by his parents, Julian (Julius) and Mary Telowicz, brother, Paulin Telowicz, sister, Julia Latham, and nephew, Larry Latham.

A visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Funeral Home with burial to follow at St. Teresa Catholic Cemetery in Harrah, OK.
