Carolyn Marie Quirk
September 5, 1937 – April 25, 2018
Carolyn was a loving wife of Bill for 60 years, mother, grandmother & great grandmother with a lot of Irish spunk and a big heart. She loved the slots and was lucky!
Carolyn was retired from Childrens Radiology Department in 2002. She worked tirelessly in support of her family, friends and church, caring for the needs of others. She loved her flower garden and had a natural ability to arrange flowers to share with everyone. Carolyn was full of life and was a spitfire. She was a very active member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for 50 years and was President of the Golden Agers. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Frank and Genevieve; her son Robert Quirk, her husband William Quirk, brothers Jerry, Richard, Bernie, Francis Gohla and her sisters, Mary Olson, Jean Gohla, and Kathy Putrah.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Julie Quirk, Teresa Sullivan, Anita Quirk, Colleen and Mike Davis, and Mark and Julie A. Quirk; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Carolyn is my Aunt,( my Dad's youngest sister in the Gohla Family).
I was asked to be the Junior Bridesmaid, when Bill and Carolyn got married in Mankato. What a fun celebration then, and they continued to celebrate LIFE always. I knew my cousins, (their adult children.....) but didn't keep up with the grandchildren very well. I live in Minneapolis, and when I was a little girl, my Dad would visit Carolyn and Bill in Mpls (...Colleen and I just spoke on the phone, memories of Carolyn and Bill and family gathering at Lake Francis for a reunion...and it rained (cats and dogs) as they say, and we were all held up in one cabin.....I played the guitar and everyone of the kids could sing ) )Peace and courage to all you and your families.
Great memories of my dear Aunt Carolyn. Rest in Peace
