Deborah Jo Luna was born in Tulsa, OK on July 17, 1959 to Joe and Lucille Ann Luna. On July 7, 2020 she passed away peacefully at her home with her two children (James and Erica Wade) by her side. She is survived by her children, daughter in law Stefanie and she was blessed with three grandchildren: all boys. Nicolas (10), James (9), and Elijah (5). Surviving siblings (Vicki, Cherri, Joe, Terri, and Sharon) and countless nieces and nephews. She has joined her loving parents (Joe & Ann) in heaven.
Debbie loved life and her family. She worked at Livingston Machinery in Chickasha, OK for the past 14 years. Over that time, she gained the best of friends. She consistently bragged how she worked for the best company in the world. This was home for her.
Debbie tried every day to be a wonderful example to her children and grandchildren. She tried her best to live by the “Golden Rule”. Her compassionate and giving nature was always on display any time someone needed a hand-out or a hand-up. It did not matter. If she could help, she did.
She loved baking, cake decorating, and wrapping presents. She was an extremely patriotic woman who loved her country and yes, Donald Trump was her favorite President. She also loved Coca-Cola (no ice) and Mexican food. She loved Vegas (specifically Blackjack). She loved her dogs. Debbie ALWAYS had at least two dogs in her home. She had everything from show quality Poms to rescue animals. She was a lover of animals and never met a dog she did not absolutely love.
Debbie will be deeply missed. Heaven gained an angel on 7-7. Mom we love you most.
Family, Friends, and others whose lives Debbie touched are invited for a public viewing at Sunny Lane Funeral Home, 4000 SE 29th St, Del City, OK from 4pm- 8pm on Monday, July 13th, 2020 and Funeral services will be held the following day, Tuesday, July 14th 2020 at 10am.
