Leon Clyde Tidwell

Leon Clyde Tidwell was born November 7, 1933, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Clyde C. and Jesse Agnes Moore Tidwell. He passed away May 28, 2018, in Midwest City, Oklahoma. He attended Barnsdall High School, and retired from the military after 33 years of service. He then retired from civil service after 24 year of service. Leon enjoyed traveling, sports, and music. His greatest achievement was being a Christian, and his proudest moment was when his children were born. Leon attended Meadowood Baptist Church. Leon is survived by his wife Melvia, and eight children; Leon Jr. of Fresno California, Kathy Upton of Bullhead, City, Arizona, LaVeon and husband Glen Williams of Maud, Oklahoma, Starlene Hollingshead of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Alisa Frye of Moore, Oklahoma, Twyla Tidwell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Melrita and husband Robert Stephens, and Regina Sellers, 20 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one daughter Dionette “Dee” Brooks, who passed away December 1, 2007.
