Arnulfo M. Tamayo

Mr. Arnulfo M. Tamayo passed away at the age of 69, on August 15, 2015 in the Delano area. Mr. Tamayo was born in Jalisco Mexico. His occupation was as a musician playing with various groups, the last group he played with was the Gilgueros. Mr. Tamayo made playing music his long career for 56 years.

Mr. Tamayo is survived by Francisco Tamayo (brother), Abelino Tamayo (brother), Atanacio Tamayo (brother), Ramon Tamayo (brother), Martina Simental (sister), Eric Tamayo (brother).

Mr. Tamayo was preceded in death by his wife, Magdalena Tamayo, Juan Tamayo (father), Andrea Mendoza (mother), Ramon Tamayo (brother), Olivia Chavez (sister), Rosalia Bocanegra (sister).

Services: Tuesday August 25, 2015, viewing/visitation at Delano Mortuary Chapel from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Rosary will begin at 6:00 p.m.

Wednesday August 26, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. mass will take place at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Father Rick Fierros will be officiating mass.

In speaking with the family they stated Mr. Tamayo enjoyed watching the Los Angeles Dodgers games. He loved listening and playing mariachi music and visiting with his family. Family members also stated he was loved by all.
