Erlinda G. Camotuya, was born in Taguiporo Bangui, Ilocos Norte, Philippines to Cornelio and Maria Gumallaoi on September 5, 1946 and passed away at the age of 72 on May 7, 2019. She was a resident of Delano, CA. for 40 years, where she worked as a farm laborer then later as a Certified Nurse Assistant. She was a member of the Temple of God, United Holy Church of America. Erlinda was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Camotuya, her son Felix Camotuya Jr. and his wife Anthonete Camotuya, grand-daughter Liana Camotuya; and two sisters, Tomasa Gumallaoi and Carmelina Gumallaoi.
Erlinda is preceded in death by her parents Cornelio and Maria Gumallaoi, her husband Felix Camotuya Sr., her son Rene Camotuya, as well as her siblings Caridad Gumallaoi, Rodolfo Gumallaoi Sr., and Jose Gumallaoi.
A visitation for Erlinda will be held Friday, May 31, 2019 from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Delano Mortuary, 707 Browning Road, Delano, CA. with our chapel service beginning at 5:00 PM. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM also at Delano Mortuary with a committal service following immediately after at North Kern Cemetery District, 627 Austin St., Delano, CA 93215.
Serving as pallbearers are Felix Camotuya Jr., Ronald Gumallaoi, Jeffrey Gumallaoi, George Gumallaoi, Justin Ballesteros, Thaddaeus Esperanza, Amando Martin Jr. and Roman Martin Jr..
