Marvin Kashan, 93 of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away on June 23, 2018. He was born and raised in the Bronx. Before retiring to Florida, he lived most of his life in Jericho, Long Island where he raised his family, which was his number one priority.
He spent weekends with his wife and three children, often volunteering to coach Little League Baseball and attending his children’s sporting events.
Marvin was a proud veteran and embraced his opportunity to serve as a surgical medic in World War ll. After returning home from the war, he attended
The Art Students League, and during his career, rose to become the National Advertising Director of Lane Bryant.
His hobbies included painting, fishing, playing bridge and most importantly, golf, which he enjoyed playing with his wife, children and golf buddies. When he no longer was able to play, he would ride in a golf cart and enjoy watching his grandchildren play a round.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Jean Kaplan Kashan; his loving children, Robert Kashan, Bruce Kashan, Deborah Kashan Goodman and her husband, Douglas;
grandchildren, Katerina, Matthew, Michael, Rachel, Jacqueline and Bradley; grandogs, Scout and Jadie.
