Big Nanny-
Well, you finally made it to your heavenly home. You’ve  talked about this day for a long while. I bet Papa got all dressed up nice as he waited at the pearly white gates, so he could take you on your very first Friday night heavenly date.   I’m sure he looked handsome, as he always was and  I know he was mesmerized by your beauty and brand new body.  I know you were ready to go, but our hearts  sure were not. You showed us all what love truly looked like by the way you loved Papa. You loved your family deeply and sacrificed much of your life for us and you always had a way to bring us all back together again. You were a strong fighter, strong willed and a defender of those you loved.  You were  full of wisdom and would speak what was on your mind, even when the truth hurt. But, you always did it out of love. You loved Jesus and talked of him often. You were a loving mother, a wonderful Nanny  and the BEST-EST Big Nanny to all your great and great- great grandkids. You’ve left us with many beautiful fond memories of a life well lived and gave us wonderful traditions that we will continue to pass on down to our families for years to come.   We take joy, comfort and peace in knowing that  we will see you again one day.  Heaven is a much more beautiful place because you are in it.  All of our love,  forever and always 💖

Aunt Net,always beautiful,always loving.I remember how excited we would get when we heard" going to Nets and Brothers that translated to the"best bologna sandwich knowing the veggies came from the garden right outside the door.I love you and I know you Gailey bunch are partying love to All.Patty,Sissy,Kay so Sorry for your loss.

Dearest Jeanette:   You and I were the best of friends at Kemp Elementary.  I have so many fond memories of the days and nights we spent together.  I used to  love to go home with you at lunchtime because your mom made the best jello I ever ate.  You had a frig. and we only had an ice box which wouldn't jell the jello.  We graduated from 8th grade together, which was a great event for us.  In June that year (1945) my mom and I moved to Ft. Worth (broke my heart to leave  you) and after my mom passed away in August that year, we finally lost track of each other.  You came to the  Kemp reunion years later and I was so thrilled to see you!   Again after that we lost track of each other  but I never forgot YOU!  Rest in Peace my dear friend and perhaps we'll meet again  some day in Heaven!   Love you!   LaDella
