Esther Annabelle Haddan, 88 of Aurora, CO passed from this life June 21, 2022 at Cherry Creek Nursing Center in Aurora, CO. Annabelle was born July 1, 1933 in Rocky Ford, CO to parents Alvah and Frances Lynch.
She was the class valedictorian at Center High School, graduating in 1951. Annabelle later enrolled in St. Luke’s Nursing School in Denver, graduating in January 1956. She married Ted Haddan December 8, 1956 in Holyoke, CO and they raised five children residing in Holyoke, Sterling, Craig, Montrose and Rocky Ford.
Annabelle worked as an RN in Nursing Centers and in home health care until age 77. She loved the Lord, family, friends, and music, participating in Sweet Adelines and church choirs and providing piano and organ accompaniment.
Annabelle is survived by sons Dan Haddan, Stephen Haddan (Doug Fischer), John Haddan, Doug (Jennifer) Haddan, daughter Janet (Jim) Elkins, Vicki Haddan, grandchildren Zach (Niki) Haddan, Justin Haddan (Kayleigh Smith), Colby Haddan, Josiah Haddan, Kinsey Haddan, great- grandson Jameson Graves, twin sister Isabelle Lewellen and sister Lois Ferguson, brother Jim Lynch and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband Ted Haddan, brother Alden Lynch, sisters Mary Bartz, Darlene Krueger and Kathy Martinez.
A celebration of Annabelle’s life will be held Thursday July 28th at 2pm at Olinger Funeral Home 8600 E. Hampden Avenue Denver, CO 80231. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be given to Operation Christmas Child C/O Samaritan’s Purse samaritanspurse.org/operation-christmas-child or to Optimal Hospice 4380 S.
