Nicholas Levy Montoya

His love for his wife, Angie was limitless. He loved his children Levi, Emma, Bob, Fred, Theresa, Leona, Veronica, Anita and was a good father. His patience with his children was legendary, his love for his wife endless. Nicholas was the "patriarch" of the Montoya tribe. His 8 children blessed Nicholas & Angie with (30) grandchildren and (38) great grandchildren and loved being with them as much as possible, always. He had great compassion for the poor, the sick, the elderly, and the orphan. He opened his heart to many and was blessed by God.

Born in Mesitas, Colorado on April 04, 1931 he began a modest life which came with many hardships, he permeated life and learned many valuable lessons. His determination and intelligence were great for a man who began with a 4th grade education. Nicholas worked as a machinist for Martin-Marietta Aerospace Industry for 32+ years; he machined parts for Spacelab, Viking, Titan and numerous secret projects. He was always adamant in his pursuit of knowledge; his children knew this and all graduated from school with honors.

Our dad was tireless in raising his family and never game up, in his last years on this earth I think he talked with God in depth. He gained a wealth of wisdom on what is important in life. God, family, and love were the essence of Nicholas. He was blessed with a wife who endured with and took care of him to the finality of this earthly life. God gave Nicholas many blessings but the crown jewel was his wife, Angie. He had comfort and peace through his trial with sickness because of Angie, his love. Nicholas left this world to be with Elohim (God) the creator of the universe. Nicholas died peacefully at home with his family close by. He finished the race called life with dignity and love. Our husband, dad, brother, cousin, friend is grateful for having known many people who were instrumental in his life.

"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear god and keep his commandments, for this is mans all." ECC 12:13

Now god will look into Nicholas' heart and see limitless love and be very pleased, for god is love.
