Brother of Daniel Schlagel, Frank (Jacqueline) Schlagel, Rose (Roy) Buckner and Bill (Ellen) Schlagel. Grandpa to David, Travis, Steven, Isabella, Michael and Dominick.

Richard enjoyed working on automobiles.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, January 24, 2017, 11:30AM at Olinger Moore Howard Chapel,

4345 West 46th Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80212. Internment following at Fort Logan Cemetery.
