Ronald L. Hyatt

DeQuincy-Ronald L. Hyatt, 64, passed away on Monday, August, 20, 2012 at his residence.

He was a life-long resident of Oretta. He loved to work in his yard, and had a special love for his church and the Lord. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward & Shirley Hyatt; his brother, Edward Wayne Hyatt and his nephew Carl Stampley. Survivors include Senith Burch Hyatt, his wife of 43 years; one son, Gary Hyatt and wife Heather of DeQuincy; one daughter, Rebecca Myers and husband Robert of Ashland, Ky.; brothers Donald Hyatt and wife Mary of Singer and Thomas Hyatt and wife Kelly of Orange, Tx.; sisters, Janice Mitchell of DeRidder, Peggy Newman and husband Mickey of Oretta and Tina Hyatt of Oretta; grandchildren, Andon Sowers of DeQuincy, Lathyn Myers of Ashland, Ky., Natalia Hyatt of DeQuincy and Aryain Hyatt of DeQuincy.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Pentecostal House of Praise from 5:00p.m. until 9:00p.m.and will resume at the church on Wednesday August 22, 2012 from 10:00a.m. until time of service. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday August 22 at 2:00p.m. also at the church. The Rev. Anthony Kennon and Rev. David Kennon will officiate.
