Americo Andreini, 73, of Des Plaines, Illinois, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2019. He was born and raised in Colle di Compito, Lucca, Italy. He and his parents immigrated to the United States in 1966, settling in the Chicago area. He met Piera Paolini while she vacationed in Italy in 1965 and reconnected with her after moving to this country. They married in 1969 and raised three daughters. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pietro Andreini and Elisa Marcheschi, his father- and mother-in-law, Luigi and Maria Lilia Paolini. He is survived by his wife, Piera, his daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Brian Larkin, Daniela Andreini and Simone Cavallaro, and Tina and Joe Hansen, as well as his four granddaughters, Emma, Kate, Rylan, and Lilly, and his sister and brother-in-law, Roberta Andreini and Bruno Bernardi. Loved by his nieces, nephews, and friends both here and in Italy, his smile and passion for life will be greatly missed. Visitation Friday, November 8, 2019 at 9:30am until time of mass 11am at St. Stephen Catholic Church 1280 Prospect Ave. Des Plaines, IL. Entombment St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles, IL.
