Margaret J. "Peggy" Barry of Des Plaines for 58 years. Visitation for Margaret J. "Peggy" Barry (nee O'Brien), 78, will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, June 7, at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (Northwest Highway/Route 14 at Rand Road). Des Plaines. A prayer service will be Friday, at 11:15 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass at 12 noon at St. Stephen Church, 1267 Everett St., Des Plaines. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery. Born July 29, 1933, in Chicago, she passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012, in Arlington Heights. Peggy was a bookkeeper for many years for many local businesses. She was the wife of the late Walter Gene Barry; mother of Dr. Joseph (Georgia Cawley) Barry, Kevin (Kathy) Barry, Tim (Karen) Barry, Noreen (Stephen) Fahrner, Kathy (John) Tracz, Eileen Thomas and Dr. Coleen (Dr. Barry) Sullivan; grandmother of nine; great-grandmother of two; and sister of John (Bobbi) O'Brien, the late Thomas (Adeline) O'Brien, the late Mary Nicholson, the late Anne Foley, the late Danny O'Brien and the late Eileen (Jack) Mahoney. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer's Association, appreciated.
