Ingeborg Theresa Burrows (Oma), age 89 died on October 13, 2019 with her family by her side. She was born in Munich, Germany and came to the United States in 1957. She spent most of her working life providing house keeping services, including her favorite, taking care of the Michigan State University union building.
Oma had a great love for all animals. She donated generously to the Capital Area Humane Society and other animal rescue charities. She had close relationships with her neighbors and even considered many of them family. Oma's number one love was her family. She never let a day go by without talking to them.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Daryl Burrows, who passed in July 2019, and her son Heinz Hakl in 2006. Surviving are her daughter, Irmgard Deyoung (John), granddaughter Dominique Titus (Brent), four great-grandchildren Brittany, Stephen, Amanda and Matthew, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Ingeborg (Oma) will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
