John and I were neighbors of Rusty and Bea. Bea introduced me to the Dexter Heritage Guild when I retired from work. I am very grateful for the friendships I have made because of this. I was always impressed by Rusty's participation in our guild from behind the scenes. Rusty created toaster tongs from tongue depressors which we sold at the Holiday Bazaar. I still have mine. Rusty fabricated other items we needed in his workshop. John appreciates the mentoring Rusty provided on the operation of farm implements when we first moved in. Rusty also helped with welding of equipment and safe felling of tall ash trees for fire wood.
