I remember piano lessons in Lucy's East Lansing basement with several other at-home moms. Lucy gave her time, enthusiasm, and love of music to us. Peace and comfort to Debbie, Becky, and the rest of the family; it is a great comfort to have her finish the race well! In Christ, Jan Munk (with Jerry)

We remember the many gatherings and Bible Studies with Lucy and Si. Loved her sense of humor and love of music. She will be missed. Our deepest sympathies to her family.

Ahhhh, what can I say. So many memories...growing up, visiting all of you, playing with all you kids. My mom told me today about Mrs. Alpert passing away. I'm so sorry for your loss. Please know that you have my deepest sympathies. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I completely understand how sad you all are feeling.

Dear Aunt Lucy

I will always remember and be grateful for what you and Si did for me, without blinking. I feel fortunate we had one more time to see each other and spend time within the last year, and to have spoken to each other just last week. I remember at a young age how concerned you were about Homer's kids, and how you would welcome us in if anything were to happen with Mom and Dad; it helped me to now that the 3 of us kids had a place to go. My husband John would have enjoyed getting to know you.

I will always remember you.

Love, Diane
