Travis enjoyed listening to his tunes, going to car shows and drinking beer. In earlier years, he would go on drives, which sometimes lead to adventures. Travis loved telling stories of memories of days gone by. He was very proud of his family. Travis is survived by his mother, Marion Stevenson; the love of his life and soul mate Julie; daughter, Jennifer (Roy), Beaverbank; sisters, Leeann (Joey), Digby; Elizabeth (Brett), Weymouth; brother, Aldwyn, Toronto ON; grandchildren, Brendan, Savannah; great-grandchild, Leo; Many nieces, nephews and cousins. Travis was predeceased by sister, Monica McDormand; Niece, Toby-Lynn Francis; grandmother, Isobelle Ruggles; Aunt Geraldine Ruggles and great-nephew, Jaydon Stevens.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby. A celebration of Travis’s life will be held Saturday, August 8 at 2pm from Acaciaville Baptist Church. Rev. Alden Fells and Rev. Roy Bertaux officiating. With burial in Maple Wood Cemetery. Donations in his memory can be made to the Lung Association of Nova Scotia or a charity of choice.
