Gail Rinaudo

Rinaudo, Gail, (nee Hersh), on February 13, 2023. Beloved mother of Alexander (Eileen) and Ariana Briggins (Dawone). Cherished grandmother (GiGi) to Alanna, Xander, Alistair (Ace) and Aibhlin Rinaudo and Giuliana and Gianna Briggins. Loving companion to Alan Goldsand. Also survived by cherished friend and former husband Frank Rinaudo. Devoted Sister of Jacqueline, aunt to Jennifer and cousin to Michael Hersh. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Gail was a classical cellist who received her Bachelor's Degree in Music from SUNY Potsdam and her Master's Degree in Music Performance from Queens College. Gail was a Music Teacher at Barnum Woods Elementary School in East Meadow and East Williston High School. Gail played cello in a number of Community Orchestras in Nassau County and taught privately for many years. She loved performing and teaching music. Gail loved her bulldogs (Tessa and Molly), enjoyed going to the US Open Tennis Tournament every year and tennis in general. Gail loved to travel and had the opportunity to perform in London, Paris, Salzburg, Venice and China with various Chamber Orchestras.
Services will be held on Thursday, February 16th at 12:00 pm IJ Morris Funeral Home, 21 East Deer Park Road in Dix Hills. Interment to follow at Genola Rural Cemetery in East Northport .
