For most of my life Bud was my distant cousin, I actually knew of him more than I knew him and then in 2007 he and Joan joined us on a journey to our ancient Falgoux villages in France. God blessed this journey, but more than that, He introduced me to good man, Bud Falgoust, a genuinely funny fellow, indeed a genuine Falgoust. My fondest memory was taking a photo of him picking a cluster of grapes from a rural vineyard, a photo that is now a treasure of mine. He lived a large life and I'm very blessed to have known him closely for five years. God rest his soul and bless his family.
