Jude K. Jarreau
August 24, 1978 – October 9, 2022

Jude K. Jarreau, age 44, a loving and caring father, son, brother, uncle and friend; passed away unexpectedly, October 9, 2022. Jude was a proud and devoted father to his two girls, Ali Grace and Presley.
He was a Superintendent at MMR where he was respected and loved by many. Jude loved spending time with his family and friends. He especially loved following his girls with all of their sporting events. Jude was an avid lover of anything and everything LSU and made every event that he could. He loved golfing, fishing and spending time in Grand Isle. His favorite past-time was being social with family and friends and he was known for his quick wit and comebacks as noted by his many Facebook followers.
Jude is survived by his 2 daughters, Ali Grace Burt - Jarreau and Presley Marie Jarreau; parents, Clair "Tut" Acosta Cassard and Oliver Cassard and father John Jarreau; brother, Kurt Jarreau (Stephanie); sister, Paige Cassard; niece, Hadley Jarreau and nephews Hayes and Aven Jarreau; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd and Josie Acosta, Delia Giroir; Murphy and Mary Jarreau; great aunt, Nanny Fay Montero.
In honor of Jude's love for LSU, the family invites you to wear purple and gold to his service.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or masses in his honor.
Visitation will be held at St. Francis of Assisi in Donaldsonville on Thursday, October 13, 2022 from
8:30am - 12:30pm followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1pm. Entombment will follow at Ascension Catholic Church Cemetery.
