Mrs. Betty Jean Arrowood Rivers, age 87, of Villa Rica, GA passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018. She was born December 16, 1930 in Marietta, GA. Mrs. Arrowood retired from IBM as keypunch operator. She enjoyed going to the beach on family vacations and traveling the United States. She also enjoyed watching old movies. Her favorite pastime however, was spending time with family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Wayne Arrowood; parents, James and Sarah Parr; son, David Arrowood, and sister, Dorothy Smith.

Surviving her are her sons, James (Jill) Arrowood, Ronald Arrrowood and Mike Arrowood; sister, Carolyn Clayton; six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 11 until 1 o’clock pm. A memorial service will be held following at 1 o’clock pm in the Rosehaven Chapel with Pastor Scotty Davis officiating. Inurnment will take place at 2:2 Collective Church (formerly New River Community Church) at 3464 Fairburn Road, Douglasville, GA 30135.
