James Norman Brewster

James N. Brewster, March 7, 1929-May 20, 2020 James (Jim) N. Brewster of Manteno, Illinois died peacefully on May 20, 2020, after a short illness. He was born in Mattoon, Illinois. He was married to Norma Maxine Johnson in 1949. They were married for 65 years. James served in the army from 3 1947 until 9 1948. He was recalled to active duty 9 1950 to serve during the Korean Conflict. He retired from the trucking industry after 45 years in management. He enjoyed reading, hunting, fishing and bowling with family and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Brewster, brother, Robert, mother, Edna Lucille Brewster, father Jesse Roy Brewster.

Survived by son Michael Brewster (Deborah) of Manteno, Illinois, daughter Michelle Ginsburg (Craig) of Orland Park, Illinois, two grand children, Carrie Granat (Jim) of Northbrook, Illinois, Jim Brewster of Lockport, Illinois, step grandchildren Nicole Robinson (Brian) of Manteno, Illinois, Jesse Kelln of Rockford, Illinois, great grandchildren Gabriella Brewster, Ryan and Taylor Granat and step great grandchildren Jacob and Alec Robinson.

Cremation rites have taken place and no memorial service will be held.
