She was born December 18, 1913, in Duluth to Edward and Hazel Clark. Margaret lived in the Lennox Building for 24 years before moving to St. Eligius. After retiring as a surgical technician from St. Luke’s Hospital, Margaret worked in home healthcare. She loved doing ceramics, ballroom dancing and traveling.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husbands, Alvin Larsen and Arthur Anderson; a son Alvin “Bud” Larsen, Jr. and daughter, Violet Anderson; and a granddaughter, Sue Ellen Fleischmann.
She is survived by her sons, Robert E. (Jackie) Larsen, of Oak Creek, WI and LeRoy (Ruby VanWave) Larsen, of Duluth; nine granddaughters, Sally (Mark) Tilli, Wendy Larsen, Chrystal (Rick) Bergman, Sherry (Stan) Johnson, Dawn (Tom) Grove, Hope (Mike) Fails, Jill (Steve) Kaczmark, LeeAnn (Brian) Gunderson and Patti (Mike) Bredow; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Earl Schroeder, of Croswell, Mich.; and son-in-law, Robert Anderson, of Duluth.
The family would like to thank the staff of St. Eligius Health Center for the wonderful care given to Margaret.
Gathering of family and friends from 10:00am until the 11:00am memorial service Wednesday, February 2nd in the chapel at St. Eligius Health Center, 7700 Grand Ave. Inurnment will be in Oneota Cemetery at a later date.
