Age 68, of Peters Township, Pennsylvania, formerly of Dundas, passed away on January 1, 2020 after a brave fight with complications following surgery related to ovarian cancer.

Margarita was the cherished wife of 37 years of William F. Gasse; loving mother of Nicole (William) Tafe, of Canonsburg, and Lucien (Emily) Gasse, of Valencia; devoted Nanna of Austin and Liam Tafe, and Pascal Gasse; dear sister of Anna (Douglas) Belton, of Phoenix, Joseph (Laura) Grech, of Calgary, and Tania (Derek) Ehrl, of Toronto; sister-in-law of Rosanne Gasse, of Brandon, and Bernard (Ludy) Gasse, of Toronto; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Margarita was preceded in death by her parents Lino and Beatrice (Griscti) Grech.

Friends and Family are welcome at the Marlatt Funeral Home "Swackhamer Chapel" 195 King St. W, Dundas on Thursday, January 9th from 7 - 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 58 Sydenham St., Dundas. Interment to follow at Saint Augustine’s Catholic Cemetery, Dundas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to UPMC Magee-Women’s Research Institute & Foundation, Ovarian Cancer Research.
