Frank Milton Bullard of South Wilmington Avenue in Dunn, departed this life on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Wake Med in Raleigh. He was born on February 17, 1932 in Beaver Dam, North Carolina to the late Harvey Bullard and the late Ruth Hales Bullard. Frank was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a friend to all; the kind of person who shined. His kind heart and gentle spirit could not be hidden. He was always looking for ways to do something good for someone else. He couldn't stand the thought of someone being hungry, person or animal. His children recall many Christmas's, were the gifts stayed wrapped, until meals were delivered to Frank's clients, who he knew were sick and shut in. He was honest and he was faithful. He loved his Lord and savior, he was a member of Central Baptist Church where he served as an usher. He was thankful of the goodness and mercy that the Lord had shown to him, often offering praise unto the Lord for it with each prayer he prayed. Frank lived his life to exert that same mercy and goodness toward others that the Lord had shown to him. He was an all around good man, he was funny, he was smart and he made you feel special. He was the University of North Carolina's biggest fan. Whether it be football or basketball, you could always count on him to know the score; you didn't have to watch the highlight reel to hear about all the best plays, he could tell you just as good. He was an avid bass fisherman, he loved to fish Rhodes pond and many other places, some of which we may never know, as they were his secret. One thing that he did not keep secret, was his love for his family and friends; he has entered into rest, but his memory will be cherished always, within those who he loved so dear.
Left behind to cherish his memory: his loving wife: Willodean Ivey Bullard; children: Kimberly Beasley and husband Michael, Eddie Tew and wife Sallie, Sandy Warren and husband Ricky, Karen Levine, Tammy Fox and husband Ty, Kathy Bentley, Timmy Bullard and wife Jean, Donald Bullard and wife Linda; Grandchildren: Kristy Page. Lauran Rhoads, Logan Tew, Jake Turlington, Chad Turlington, Anthony Warren, Morgan Jackson, Nicole Mitchell, Brandon Weinberg, Christopher Bentley, Kenny Fisher, Zach Bullard, Michael Bullard and Pam Faircloth; brothers and sisters: Benny Ray Bullard, Mittilene Cartrette, Wilma Gautier, Landon Bullard, Jethro Bullard, Thelma Brown, Reba Hollingworth and Judy Blackwell; and 13 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
