To the Wicker Family,
It truly saddens my heart to hear of Mr. Terry's passing. I met Mr. Terry at Erwin Town Hall. I was the Deputy Clerk at the time Mr. Terry served on the Town's Planning Board. Mr. Terry has always shown me kindness during the time I was with the Planning Board and even afterwards. He was always a joy to see when he came in to pay his water bill. He would always smile and say Star how much do I owe you I think I am a couple days late and I would always say Mr. Terry you did good you made it just in time before the late fee was added. He was relieved then and would always say Thank You and I hope everything is going well with you Star and I got water another month. Even if Mr. Terry did not come and pay his water bill I could always see him walking past the office at Town Hall heading to the Library. Mr. Terry loved to read and make special notes on a few pages. Mr. Terry was a kind and intelligent man who did not have a problem of voicing his opinion and sticking by it. I will miss seeing him pass by the office but he will never be forgotten. Sleep on my friend. God Bless you all and I will continue to keep you all lifted up in prayer.
