We offer our sincere condolence and deepest sympathy for the loss of Krishanth.

 Krishanth was a God gifted child. We have known Krishanth from the day he was born and seen him grow with many different challenges in everyday life. You both took care of him with so much dedication and always with a smile on your face. 

We ask for God's blessings on you and your wonderful family. May you find the courage and strength to move forward in peace and confidence and in knowing that his was a life well-lived.

It is an honor and privilege for me and my family to be the best friends of Krishanth’s Family, Parents Kannan and Priya, and little Sister Sahana.  I remember the day at a Picnic in Canton Area and the moments Krishanth having fun in the water play area, sprinkling the water all over him  and enjoying and laughing loud while Kannan was moving the stroller back and forth near the sprinklers. I was telling Kannan, looks like Krishanth is having lot of fun in water, then I forgot about it. Then next week when I visited their home, I saw a water pool play area on the deck and Krishanth enjoying his play time in water. Such is the love that Krishanth was showered by the parents for all and each of his activities and fun.

I have never seen Kannan or Priya looking tired in taking care of the God gifted child Krishanth around the clock. In the 13 years, at Penrickton School in Michigan, a round trip of 3 hours, or at Filling Homesin Ohio, a round trip of nearly 5 hours, every week, they would bring the lovely son Krishanth home on Fridays and drop him back to the school on Sundays. They took care of the best that a parent could do and beyond, that I always think, God is very calculative and He has sent Krishanth to the best parents and in the best hands. Kannan would cancel his favorite games like Tennis, Volleyball or anything just to spend time with Krishanth and Priya would  take off from work or any other scheduled plans just to take care of the lovely son. I respect them as the best Parents that Krishanth could have. I always think Krishanth is very lucky and God gifted to be in the best hands. I still feel Krishanth is in the best hands of God. He would always feel proud and happy for the lovely parents Kannan and Priya and the beautiful little sister Sahana.

Dear Krishanth,

It’s been a pleasure to know you this 1.5 years.We were amazed to see you fight through the challenges of life.
We were more surprised to see the love,care and affection your parents have for you.
They have sacrificed a lot to give you the best care.
Please be a guardian angel and take care of your parents and little sister.
You are at a much better place now.God has taken all your pains away and we pray that he gives your parents the strength to overcome your loss.

Krishanth impacted the lives of so many including mine. He truly brought happiness to all who cared for him at Penrickton Center for Blind Children. You knew he was having fun because his laughter could be heard across the room, and then you would look and see his infectious smile.

Krishanth’s family and friends - I am so sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in knowing how much happiness Krishanth brought to all who were lucky enough to know him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. 



Kannan is my college-mate and a good friend. I came to know Priya after their marriage. They are such a lovely and easy going couple. After the special child Krishanth born, they totally transformed to the most responsible parents I have ever seen. They provide whatever Krishanth wanted and they took care of him with so much care, dedication and passion. Kishanth's beautiful smile carried them all along until his last breath.
Krishanth is such a beautiful and lovely boy who made them strong, better human being and most importantly taught life lessons to Kannan and Priya at this young age.

May his soul Rest in Peace as he lives a pain free and better life in the feet of god.

I am sharing herewith my feeling on seeing Krishanth on the visitation.

" நீ சயணித்திருக்கும் கோலத்தை கண்டு சட்டென இழந்தேன் சுயநினைவை.
அழகுப்பையன் அசந்து தூங்குகின்றான், எழுந்து விடுவான் சற்று நேரத்தில் என்று,
விம்மி இறங்கும் நெஞ்சத்தையும், இறுக மூடிய கண்களையும் பார்த்து நின்றேன் பரிவுடன்,
அத்தனை இரைச்சலிலும் அப்படி என்ன தூக்கம் என்று வியந்திருக்கும் வேளையில்,

We know Krishanth from the time he was born and We’ve seen him grow right from that day. It’s shocking for us to see him leave this world.

I remember his love for music especially high beat songs and his smile.

Krishanth was a great kid born to even greatest parents.   My first encounter with Krishanth was about his rocking chair. On my first visit to their home, I sat in his chair without realizing it was his chair.  He found out with rocking sound and started crying, then both parents explained that it was his chair where he relaxes with music. I stood out immediately, then I came to know the smart kid.  He might have been blind, but he opened many eyes. Kannan and Priya are biggest role models for many parents, including us.  Such a lovely kid, he was in good hands of Kannan and Priya, now he is in the hands of God. May God give peace to his soul and strength to his family.

I had the pleasure of being Krishanth’s Occupational Therapist at Penrickton Center for Blind Children for almost 6 years. Krishanth’s smile and energy always lit up the entire room. It was so fun to watch him grow and learn throughout the years, and his contagious laugh will never be forgotten. 

Kannan, Priya, and Sahana- I am so sorry for your loss. You are forever in our thoughts and prayers. Thank you for sharing Krishanth with all of us and allowing our lives to be so greatly impacted by his beautiful soul and your wonderful family.

I had the privilege of teaching Krishanth at his second year at the Madison Center.  Krishanth enjoyed spinning in the Hopsa Dress, exploring his environment through sensory activities, and enjoyed listening to music.  His smile and laugh will forever be my greatest memory of him. 

I will be forever thankful that I have had the privilege to be able to care for Krish here at the Filling Home. I remember vividly when he first came here we were so in love with him and we all became very attached. He was such a fun, loving young boy. He became friends with everyone here and his smile was so very contagious! I loved caring for him. It was so cute watching him eat his favorite snacks and he loved strawberry syrup on his pancakes. Every time I look at that bottle it reminds me of him. I enjoyed taking him on his appointments with our wonderful nurse Sue. Krish will forever be in our hearts here at Filling Home. 

I had the honor of having Krishanth in my first class at the Madison Center. I only got to have Krishanth in my class for a few months before he moved but I am so glad I got the chance to know him and spend time with him. He never ceased to surprise me and his laugh brightened the room. I loved finding music to play in the classroom that he would like and dance along with and still smile in his memory when I play some of his favorites. He was well loved and deeply cared for and will always hold a special place in my memories.

Following is a small poem, in Tamil language, that is dedicated to Krishanth...

அன்பு கிருஷாந்த்,

போகியாக வாழாமல்
இறுதிவரை மௌனமாய்
யோகியாக வாழ்ந்து விட்டாய்

மௌனம் ஒரு தவமே.
அத்தவத்தை மட்டுமே

Translation in English:

Without living or enjoying lavish material life (Bogi), you have lived silently till the end as yogi. Yes. Being silence is penance. You just broke that penance.

As per Hinduism, By knowing last stage of life, super souls like you will cut the bondages from family and decide to live away. Living a life without joy or sorrow, suffering or celebration is not for ordinary people, it is for highly spiritual super souls (Yogis).

Since there is no specific measuring device with God to measure your pain, He adopted you under His lotus feet.

Here after whenever clock tics at 3:29, we will take it as a alarm for us to live like a good human being. Not only your soul got liberated but also we refreshed our soul to live a meaningful life.


I had the greatest priveledge of caring for Krishanth during some of his time at Penrickton. He had the best smile and the most infectious laugh I’ve ever heard, and those things I will never forget. Over the years he taught me far more than I could ever teach him, like the true meaning of life, pure happiness, and unconditional love. In his 13 years on this earth he most definitely left his mark, and will forever be remembered by so many.  He’s now living the best life, pain free, and he will always be with us. I’m forever grateful for the memories I was so lucky enough to make with him.

Krishanth was the first child I had the pleasure of taking care of at Penrickton. He taught me so much over the years and I will never forget his infectious laugh and smile. He was one special boy and was loved by so many.

Dear Kannan Family,

 I had the pleasure of being Krishanth's teacher the first year he came to the Madison Center. I will never forget his sweet smile and laugh. He was a  beautiful young man who won hearts everywhere he went. He will be greatly missed.

I was lucky enough to know this young man and his family and to take care of him in his short and beautiful life. Krishanth has high tolerance and even when he is sick he will not be fussy or act sick. He liked to listen music and really loved his sister Sahana. Both his parents took care of him and tried every possible thing in the world to keep him comfortable and happy. I pray god to give them strength and know that their faith will carry them through this difficult period.
