Terry E. Wys, 67, of East Peoria passed away at 4:59 a.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at UnityPoint Health-Methodist in Peoria. He was born on September 15, 1951 in Peoria the son of Donald and Evelyn (Potter) Wys. They preceded him in death along with his brother Donald Lee Wys. Terry married Lisa Norvel May 15, 1982 in East Peoria. She survives. Also surviving are his siblings, Norma Dison of Creve Couer, Linda (Elmer) Minson of East Peoria, Chris Goss of Arizona and Sue (Ty) Fisher of Tennessee. Terry worked for Caterpillar, retiring in 1999. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, February 18, 2019 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Pastor Jack Thompson will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Monday at the funeral home. Per Terry and his family's wishes please dress in your casual attire. Burial will be in Fondulac Township Cemetery. I grew up with Terry and he was so much fun to be around. He was always clowning around. He loved his cars, dogs and Lisa. They made a great couple. He will be missed. But at least he is at peace now. Your family is in my prayers.
