It was my privilege to know Henry, but only briefly, and via eBay (a radio sale)...we had many e.mail exchanges after that, and I discovered what an interesting life he had led, and he was obviously a very fine person. My condolences to his family. Just wish I had been able to meet him in person.
I am sorry to have just learned of his passing.

Henry was our next-door neighbor on Beverly Drive in Dalton for many years after we moved there in 1977, and he was very much a surrogate grandfather to our two young daughters. Now grown and with children of their own, they remember him fondly, as do we, and all of us were saddened to learn of his death. He was a fine man indeed, and this world is a bit poorer for his leaving it. May he rest in peace.
